Posted September 30, 2020 09:48:11The USA on Thursday will host its first-ever free seminar for residents of the New York City borough of Queens.
The seminar will focus on issues related to the stock market, including the rise of artificial intelligence, the effects of the Great Recession on financial markets, and the future of financial services.
The event is expected to attract up to 3,000 people to the town of Queens, about 20 miles northwest of New York’s financial district.
The US Association of Realtors, which is sponsoring the event, said it hopes to attract more residents to the area to learn about the stock markets and the stock brokerage industry.
The association’s president, Kevin O’Connor, said the USA is working to make the event as accessible to residents as possible.
The company has hosted the USAs free stock market seminars in the past.
The last one, in 2016, drew about 500 people.
Earlier this month, the company held an event for people interested in starting their own financial services business.
The event was billed as an opportunity for people to learn more about the investment opportunities and risk management tools available to them, but the session attracted mostly business executives.
