A yoga teacher is a professional with a specialised skill in the practice of yoga.
It’s the same with many professions in the 21st century: we are all professional.
But, it’s important to know that it is not just a matter of training or education, but also of being well-informed, having a passion for teaching and an aptitude for teaching yoga.
This year, yoga teachers are gearing up to celebrate 20 years of the Ayurvedic Medical College of India, a leading centre of Ayurthic medicine and one of the most important centres of modern Indian medicine.
The college, founded in 1925, has more than 50,000 students and is recognised as the largest centre of the discipline in the world.
It’s also the largest teaching hospital in India, and the largest of its kind in the country.
In this special programme, we will take a look at some of the key issues that have changed the face of yoga in the last 20 years.
The College of Ayutthaya is one of only three centres in India that is considered a pioneer of Ayushas yoga.
Ayushadhi, the founder, was a man of his time.
He had a keen eye for yoga and it’s now part of his life and legacy.
His philosophy was that all life, including human life, is in the service of the world, and all beings are one, one with the universe.
In the 20th century, he established the first university in India and later established the famous University of Ayuruveda in the state of Andhra Pradesh, and it has played a pivotal role in Ayurveys history.
In recent years, the College has been witnessing a renaissance of its philosophy and its activities.
This is the second edition of our Yoga in 2020 series.
In this programme, I will explore how yoga has changed over the last 10 years.
What is yoga?
As the oldest discipline in Indian history, yoga is a form of yoga practised by millions of people around the world and has been practised throughout history.
In ancient India, it was practised for thousands of years before the Buddha himself became a practitioner.
In modern times, it is practiced in all parts of the country, from North America to India, Africa, Asia, Australia, and beyond.
In Ayurvastu (Bharatiya temple), in the village of Bhangra, in northern India, we find a large temple dedicated to the ancient sage Yogacara, who lived between 300 and 500 BC.
This place is also known as the birthplace of Ayushi.
In the ancient Indian tradition, yogic practices are taught in a small temple in the center of the village, and there is also a small monastery nearby.
It is called Bhangru, after its founder, who is believed to have been a great sage.
A good yogi would have his own small sanctuary in the temple.
In a small room with a small window, he would practice his yoga.
There he would take the energy of the air and meditate.
He would then breathe deeply into the air, and then he would meditate and repeat.
The air was a sacred medium.
Yogis practice this breathing with great devotion.
He practised it in small groups of four to six, but eventually he set up his own temple where he had his own dedicated place.
This is what you would think: a very traditional yoga tradition, in a very remote place.
But, the truth is that the tradition was actually spread across a wide area of India and across different time periods.
Yogas practice has been transmitted in different times and different places.
Today, Ayur Vedas is one the largest and most popular of the Vedas in the modern world.
The word yoga means the practice and wisdom of the universe and it is the practice that has changed the world in the 20 years since it was founded.
What do yoga teachers do?
The modern day profession of yoga is very different from what the ancient tradition was.
The modern way of teaching yoga is different from the old.
In modern day yoga, there is a focus on developing a sense of self.
In traditional yoga, it meant that the teacher practised a particular form of practice that would make him stand out from the crowd.
In the modern day, the focus is on being a good teacher.
There are many ways of teaching.
In fact, there are thousands of yoga teachers who are practicing the traditional way.
Some of them have taken up yoga as a profession for a living.
Others are just doing what they like to do.
But all of them, in their practice, are still practicing traditional yoga.
Today there are over 4,000 certified teachers who have been doing yoga since 1980.
Some of them are also in the process of training in the college.
So, there has been a huge increase in the number of certified teachers, but in reality, this number is not as high as the number
