Wired article The latest in cybersecurity seminars has been offered at cybersecurity conferences around the world, including one in the US, as the US and other countries look to bolster their defenses against cyberattacks.
The latest edition of the Cybersecurity Summit is being held in California on Wednesday and Thursday, but the main focus is on security in the workplace.
The conference is aimed at helping companies learn more about the cyber security threats they face and how to prepare for the threats, said Bruce Schneier, chief technology officer at the cybersecurity company Symantec.
He told the AP he wanted the industry to focus more on how to protect people from the most common cyber attacks, rather than focusing on the vulnerabilities in the industry.
The main speakers will include executives from many of the world’s top technology companies, including IBM, Microsoft, Cisco and Hewlett-Packard.
They’ll also talk about their business and security strategies.
Schneier told the Associated Press that he didn’t think it was a bad idea to have a cybersecurity seminar at all.
The industry is moving to create a common cybersecurity strategy, said John Hagerty, an analyst at security research firm FireEye.
This is something we think companies have to do because they’re going to need to have it for their operations, but they have to take care of it at the same time,” he said.
Security and technology companies have been looking for ways to build more resilient cyber defenses and more secure networks, which is why they have been hosting cybersecurity seminars for a few years.
Many companies have started to offer cybersecurity seminars in recent years, such as at a symposium in China last year.
